Fremont Brewing Dark

 Poured from a 12oz can

Appearance: Very dark, almost opaque dark lager, The head was solid, 1/2in, some decent lacing (surprising for an NA beer)

Taste/Aroma: Smells like a good German dark lager. Very malty with a strong hint of chocolate/cocoa. Very "warm" feeling, an absolute hit.

Rating: 4 out of 4.

Guinness Non-Alcoholic Beer

Poured from a 14.5 (?) oz nitro can.

Appearance: Looks like real Guinness, the head isn't as big or foamy, but close enough.

Taste: Almost tastes like real Guinness. A touch watery compared to the real thing, but a nice substitute.

Rating: 3 out of 4.

Corona Non-Alcoholic

I've taken to drinking NA beers (and wine) since COVID. So, here's my first NA review.

Appearance: Yellow fizzy beer, not surprising.

Taste: Tastes like the real deal. Is this damning with faint praise? No, I don't think so. Add in a lime and some Mexican food and you don't notice the difference.

Rating: 3 out 4 beers. It's not the real thing, but a damn good substitute.

Fischer Amber

Brewery: Fischer Beire, France (Alsace region)
Type: Amber ale, 6% ABV, in the flip-top bottle!

Appearance: Thick, fizzy head, nice amber color
Taste: Malty, with some bitterness, like someone put a couple of drops of lime. Maybe a touch of sour, too? Not much too it, really.

Overall: 1.5 mugs out of 4. It's an OK beer, but nothing to recommend it and it's not awful.

Moylan's Irish Style Red Ale

Brewery: Moylans, California
Type: Red ale, 6.5% ABV

Appearance: Deep red color, dense head.
Taste: A hoppy red ale with hints of cocoa. Very good mouth feel, lots of flavor. Reminds me of Fat Tire.

Overall: 3 out of 4 mugs. A very good beer. I dunno why they call it Irish, but whatever.
